Épines dorsales (Total) : 0; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total) : 11 - 13; Épines anales: 0; Rayons mous anaux: 17 - 18. Diagnosis: Head and anterior body yellowish to brownish, unpaired fin margins white or yellow, and pectoral fin margin yellow to orange in male (Ref. 91031).

Occurs in brooks and small streams in the rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
