خارهاي باله پشتي (کل) : 9 - 15; شعاع نرم باله پشتي (کل) : 15; شعاع نرم باله مخرجي: 15. Caudal fin slightly emarginated.

The body is slender and covered with large deciduous scales above the lateral line and cycloid scales below the lateral line. Throat, chest and breast are scaleless.
