Adults live in shallow water with aquatic plants and usually seeks food in the middle and lower layers of water bodies. Feed mainly on small fishes and shrimps. Viscid eggs are spawned on aquatic plants in April and May (Ref. 45563).
生活在浅水区有水生植物的地方而且通常在水体的中低层中寻找食物。 主要吃小鱼与虾。 它在四月与五月的水生植物上产卵黏的卵。 (参考文献 45563)
