Spine dorsali (totale) : 13 - 14; Raggi dorsali molli (totale) : 9 - 10; Spine anali: 2; Raggi anali molli: 9; Vertebre: 27. Head, body and fins dark; sides of the body with numerous narrow light contrasting longitudinal strips, running to the dorsal and caudal fins. Pectoral fin with no long, threadlike upper ray; inner side is dark, without the large light longitudinal patches on the central part of the fin and has no alternating dark and light longitudinal strips (Ref. 41472).
