Espinas dorsales (total) : 6; Radios blandos dorsales (total) : 12 - 13; Radios blandos anales: 17; Vértebra: 34. A series of dark blotches arrayed along the lateral midline. Low vertebral count 34 including the terminal, hypural-bearing half centrum. Gut extremely short, only about 1/3 of body length (Ref. 39866).
