背棘 (總數) : 3; 背的軟條 (總數) : 9 - 10; 臀棘: 3; 臀鰭軟條: 9 - 11; 脊椎骨: 33 - 34. Iris of males blackish throughout the year. Branched, dorsal fin rays, 9-10 (mode 9); anal fin rays, 9-11 (mode 10). Melanophores on dorsal fin membrane. Karyotype with 2n = 48 (8m + 20sm + 20st). Ovipositor developed in females during breeding season (Ref. 40967).
