Épines dorsales (Total): 9; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 23-25; Épines anales 3; Rayons mous anaux: 19 - 21; Vertèbres: 27 - 31. Upper jaw with posterior margin nearly vertical; lachrymal naked and expanded part of maxilla only partially covered with scales; 14 caudal vertebrae; 27-31 total gill rakers, 7-10 on the upper limb, 19-21 on the lower limb; 53-66 scales in curved part of lateral line, 2-11scales in straight latera line, total scales in lateral line 58-74 (Ref. 76781).
