Dorsal soft rays (total): 10; Anal soft rays: 7. Body depth at dorsal origin 16.30-19.16% SL; dorsal fin inserted midway between the caudal base and snout tip or slightly nearer to the caudal base; predorsal distance 50.83-52.17% SL; caudal peduncle narrow and the least height of the caudal peduncle 12.06-15.83% SL; caudal fin forked and the lobes rounded; barbels long and threadlike; lips deeply furrowed (Ref. 54377).
