Etymology: Aulohalaelurus: aulon (Gr.), channel or groove, being a form of Halaelurus (now in Pentanchidae) with “conspicuous labial folds” (See ETYFish)labiosus: Latin for large-lipped, referring to its prominent labial folds or furrows (See ETYFish).
