背的软条 (总数) : 86; 臀鳍软条: 66. M. rosenblatti differs from all other species of the genus by the following combination of characters: head long with elongate, pointed snout, skull length 5.3-7.9% TL, rostral fang strongly hooked with distal part in a nearly right angle to dorsal profile of skull, (5)-6-(7) teeth in each jaw, dorsal fin origin above myomeres nos. 9-12, and 4-(5) lateral, subdermal spots of pigmentation.
M. rosenblatti 在组合特徵之后有别于所有的其他种的本属藉由: 头部长的有细长的, 尖的吻,头盖骨长度 5.3-7.9% TL, 嘴的尖牙强烈地以末梢部的部份钩住在一几乎对头盖骨的背面轮廓的直角,(5)-6-(7)齿在每个颌中, 在 myomeres 不上面的背鳍起点。 9-12, 与 4-(5)颜色的侧面又皮下斑点。
