Spine dorsali (totale) : 4 - 5; Raggi dorsali molli (totale) : 34 - 37; Raggi anali molli: 33 - 35. Body with two series of large, partly confluent, irregular blackish spots, cheek with two oblique dark stripes, a blackish spot on spinous dorsal (Ref. 11892).
Spawns in May-June, sometimes to July. Egg diameter greater than 1.65 mm (Ref. 45488).
